Project & Work
Experience

Hands-on roles shaped by curiosity, accountability, and a care for the people a design serves.

Self-Injection Aid Design

Ongoing

  • Collaborated in a multidisciplinary team to design a reusable, modular self-injection aid addressing needle anxiety, safety, accessibility, and sustainability.
  • Conducted stakeholder outreach, surveys, and testing to validate user needs; advanced to top 32 of 160 teams in a multi-phase design competition.
  • Applied CAD modeling, 3D printing, and prototyping to develop features including a 45° angle guide, click-in needles, refillable capsules, and a needle-concealing sliding tip for improved usability and reduced medical waste.

Project Manager

Ongoing

  • Led project planning and task delegation for a multidisciplinary design team, assigning responsibilities based on individual strengths and technical experience.
  • Maintained team accountability and progress tracking, ensuring all project milestones and deliverables were met on schedule.
  • Coordinated effective communication and workflow, keeping the team aligned and focused throughout iterative development and testing phases.

Student Teaching Intern

  • Co-developed and facilitated an engineering design sprint for rising high school seniors that emphasized creativity, problem-solving, and team-based learning.
  • Developed curriculum materials and instructional content to enhance student understanding of engineering principles and design thinking.
  • Managed program logistics and scheduling, overseeing daily operations to ensure seamless execution and a high-quality experience for over 100 participants.
  • Coordinated cross-functional collaboration with faculty, staff, and student volunteers to design and execute a week-long engineering design challenge across three program sessions.
